![]() ![]() Problem is that there were no stickers! Little piece of paper says they will be delivered later unless I purchased them at the DMV. Fortunately, I received the tag on 7-25, the day before I picked up the bike from the shop. A piece of paper to display on a motorcycle! I understand the concept behind mailing the tag, but I'm standing there! Instead, I have to wait to get in the mail (another govt. After several attempts to get the registration (that VIN thing again), I'm handed my registration and a piece of paper with my new license number. Went next door for the registration, tags, and stickers. Seems Ohio doesn't count on aging vehicles to still be alive! Kawasaki changed their VIN system in 1977. Returned with an old registration that had the correct VIN (The same VIN I had provided earlier).Īfter some struggles, the person was able to provide me with a title for my 1976 motorcycle. Was told the VIN I provided did not have enough digits. Was told that without an older registration, I would need proof of ownership and that a receipt for work done in my name would suffice but I would need the correct VIN. At 11, I went back to the receptionist when the number got to 554 and told her I was still not called. Said my number had been called but they would get me called soon. At 10:45 when the number got to 548 I asked why I had not been called and she checked to see. Then they called 517, so I figured my number would be called soon. The number got to 530, and I was okay, It got to 540 and it was about 10:30 so I was starting to wonder. I watched and listened for my number not even playing on my phone or reading so that I would not miss my number. My number was 524 I expected to be called within half an hour. I also would have been inside to hear my number called. If I had headed straight into the lobby, I would have been told to wait to check in with the receptionist. ![]() I got there at 8:30 am and waited in line to check in with the receptionist as they require at that location. I checked in online so that when I got there I would not have a long wait. ![]()
